Dogs have always played a significant part in my life and I love their company. Over the years, my own dogs (Flat Coated Retrievers and Springer Spaniels) have accompanied me wherever I’ve been, whether I’m in the studio or island hopping around the Outer Hebrides!
This year, I was delighted to be asked by WINALOT to produce the paintings for their new dog food packaging which has now been released (click to see blog).
The new series of dog paintings that I have subsequently produced, have been published as ‘split editions’ with 95 available on canvas and 195 on paper.
I have also released many of the originals of this series for sale. I am happy to work to commission on dog paintings. Please ask for details or click here.
All prints are limited editions, which are numbered and signed by myself. I have overseen the production of each of them to ensure accurate colour matching. These finest quality archival prints use lightfast pigmented ink on heavyweight acid-free paper. All prints are available framed or unframed. The canvas prints are stretched over a high quality wooden frame and depending on preference, either hung as they are, or framed in a ‘canvas profile’ which is a frame that allows the depth of the canvas to be seen. The image goes right to the edge of the canvas (see framing page).
Paper prints need to be mounted and framed behind glass, either by ourselves or by your own framer. The paper prints have a smaller image size but end up at about the same size as a canvas once the mount (card surround) and frame have been added.

Background
