Landscape Prints by James Bartholomew
LIMITED EDITION PRINTS AVAILABLE TO BUY
As with most of my subjects, light, and the colours and patterns that it creates, is the crucial element of the picture. A subtle shift in the clouds can transform a landscape and I like to re-visit particular areas as conditions change. One of my favourite places is the Lake District, England (where there is certainly plenty variation in the weather!).
All prints are limited editions, which are numbered and signed by myself. I have overseen the production of each of them to ensure accurate colour matching. These finest quality archival prints use lightfast pigmented ink on heavyweight acid-free paper. All prints are available framed or unframed. Please phone to discuss the wide range of framing options or click to see examples.

About James
“I am fascinated by the interplay between a subject and light and how changing weather can alter the essence of something so completely.”
Background
Since 1992, James has worked as a contemporary landscape and seascape painter. He has a strong reputation within the British contemporary art market and his recognisable, ‘loose and energetic’ style has gained widespread acclaim. Strong light and colour are often central to James’ paintings and dynamic viewpoints are a feature in many.
