Back in the spring, after returning from a trip to Tuscany, I wrote a newsletter promising that I would have an exhibition of the new work in late Autumn. Well for once everything has gone to plan and after an enjoyable summer of painting one of my favourite places, I’m delighted to say that the exhibition will go ahead on 5th November.
The show will be here at Mill House Gallery in Parbold and (if the ones that I’m still working on go to plan) will consist of about 25 paintings.

As promised, it will be a colourful collection of work, celebrating the vibrancy of the region and its emotive landscapes. Many paintings are based on early morning or just before sunset, when the low light is at its most dramatic.
